Not much... But with your help, I am learning...

Hello! I'm Joe Welsh. I am a married with two great boys, who enjoys Star Wars, Star Trek, Back to the Future, and using Movie and TV references.

I started computing way back in 1984 with a Commodore 64. My first original program on that Commodore 64 was a moveable sprite drawn like my my father's pontoon boat crossing a lake, utilizing the (then) advanced SID chip to make the sound of waves breaking along the shore. Programmers of that system hated the mid screen sprite line you had to program for.

Eventually I became a expert setting up a BNC serial computer networks, then progressing to Token Ring, and then to Ethernet. I have worked for large corporations, and small MSP companies, eventually creating my own company WelshWorks Enterprises, Inc.

I was originally a Android phone proponent, and ended up hacking android kernels and improving them by overclocking them and installing them on my phone.

I got tired of the android phone world and discovered the ease and simplicity Apple iPhone. After that I embraced the Apple ecosystem and have a MacBook Pro which is my main computer.

Now I live the Best of Both Worlds (ST:TNG Reference) working to help people embrace using a Windows PC or a Mac PC to best of their abilities.
